A small-batch studio

Frosted Frameworks is a one-person studio today, built to grow into a small team. Every project gets my direct attention, because I’m the one doing the work.

Hi, I’m Marjorie Pare, the founder of Frosted Frameworks. I’ve spent more than ten years in Unity game development, on games like FIGHT KNIGHT, Devil Engine: Ignition, Bug Fables, and Star Garden, with roles across programming, 3D modeling, and testing. Ever since I was young, games have felt like the perfect medium for creating powerful, emotional experiences.

For the past two years, most of my work has gone into Cyber-PARK, a web platform that teaches cybersecurity in K–5 classrooms. Building educational experiences like this is the work I enjoy most.

I’ve also spent six years decorating cakes. I love every part of creative development, from 3D modeling to programming to UI design, and it’s a lot like baking and decorating: many different skills working together to make one thing people enjoy. I started Frosted Frameworks LLC to bring that range to a wider set of clients.

Past bakes

Selected projects and what I brought to each one.

  • Cyber-PARK Main focus since 2024

Creative technologist: art direction, curriculum creation, and the website’s design and architecture, plus small Unity games, animated videos, and lesson activities.

  • Star Garden In development

Backend mechanics for the Lumi Stat system, dynamically changing creature 3D models, and the foundational database for the game’s mechanics. I also helped produce plush toys and posters.

  • Bug Fables

Optimizing the main systems and mechanics for a steady framerate across each expansive level.

  • Devil Engine: Ignition

3D models for the main menu, plus beta testing of the mechanics and bullet pathing systems.

The house recipe

After years of both game development and cake decorating, I’ve found that good software and good baking have a lot in common: solid fundamentals underneath, something delightful on top, and patience in between.

That’s the approach behind every project here. Build it properly, make it a pleasure to use, and check in often enough that nothing comes out of the oven as a surprise.

};

Growing the kitchen

The studio is starting small on purpose, with room to grow as projects call for it.

  1. Today

A solo studio. You work directly with me from the first call to the final handoff.

  2. Next

A trusted bench of collaborators in art, audio, and QA, brought in when a project needs them.

  3. Later

A small, permanent team that keeps the same hands-on, small-batch approach.

Let’s cook something up
